When is this tire relearning tool needed?

  • 2. When changing tires, there is no quick and easy way for the ECU to relearn new tire information.
  • 3. When the tire pressure indicator light comes on, after maintenance, the tire pressure needs to be reset to turn off the TPMS indicator light.
  • 4. Tire pressure is too low or leaking/replace or install tire pressure monitoring equipment/replace tires, sensor damage, etc. After these issues are resolved, the TPMS needs to be reset.
  • 5. Replace winter tires or summer tires.
