Warning:

• Correct fit of the collar is important. Wearing a collar too long or too tightly around your pet's neck can cause skin damage ranging from redness to pressure sores; this condition is often referred to as a bedsore.
• Avoid leaving the collar on your pet for more than 12 hours a day.
• If possible, put the collar back on your pet's neck every up to 2 hours.

• You may need to trim the hair in the contact point area. However, never shave your pet as this can lead to a rash or infection.
• Never attach a strap to a collar with contact points. It can put too much pressure on the contact points.
• When attaching the strap to the separate collar, don't let it put pressure on the receiver collar.
• Clean the contact points of your pet's neck and receiver collar weekly with a damp cloth.
• Proper training for your pet is critical to the successful use of this system.
• During the first 2 weeks of training, do not use the system without direct supervision of pets.
• Be sure to remove your pet's receiver collar before performing any transmitter tests or adjustments. This will prevent accidental corrections.
• Boundary areas must be tested every time you adjust fence launcher settings to prevent accidental corrections to your pet.
